By creating an account or joining a session, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Uhura.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an Uhura account or host a session. Uhura is not directed at children and is not designed for use by anyone younger. If you're joining as a guest via someone else's invite link, the same minimum age applies.
Uhura provides real-time multilingual communication services including translated chat, audio, and video sessions. Translation is metered in credits. Credits may be included with a recurring subscription or purchased separately where one-off credit packs are available.
You may not use Uhura for unlawful purposes, to transmit harmful content, to harass others, or to circumvent any security measures. Every session includes a way to report it if something goes wrong, and the host can end a session at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.
New accounts may receive a one-time allowance of welcome credits once the email address is confirmed; the amount is shown at sign-up and may change. Chat credits are deducted according to the words translated. Audio and video call credits are deducted by time while both parties are connected. One-off purchased credits do not expire. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled and provide the credit allowance shown at purchase; unused plan credits carry over to the next month up to a cap of twice the monthly allowance, and any excess is forfeited at renewal. The price, billing period, renewal terms, and included credits are displayed before you confirm a purchase. Purchases made through Apple are billed and managed through your Apple Account; eligible website purchases are processed by Stripe.
Sessions initiated by hosts may be joined by guests without an account. The host is responsible for ensuring appropriate use of sessions they create.
Uhura and all associated trademarks, logos, and designs are the property of Renterprise, LLC. You retain ownership of content you create through the service.
The service is provided 'as is'. Renterprise, LLC is not liable for translation accuracy, service interruptions, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
